Ewald Pretner, M.D.

A Georgetown University affiliate and former Medical Director of AllVia Diagnostic Laboratories and Elite Laboratories in Phoenix, AZ, Dr. Pretner was central to the establishment of innovative clinical diagnostic methodologies in endocrinology, and more specifically, steroid hormone analysis. As an advocate for patient and physician education, Dr. Pretner has lectured extensively on topics such as women's wellness, menopause, hormone-related illnesses, disease prevention, aging, and athletic performance. Following studies in Europe and the United States, Dr. Pretner received his medical degree from Georgetown University's School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at West Virginia University and subsequently returned to Georgetown University for a Fellowship in the Division of Hormone Research. His work focused on hormones, tumorigenesis, the investigation of alternative cancer therapies, and various aspects of environmental toxicology. Dr. Petner has long felt the need for better patient advocacy, more effective patient education, and increased public awareness with regard to healthcare.
Hakima Amri, PH.D.

Dr. Amri is Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics of Georgetown University School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology and Biochemistry from the University Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris, France. Dr. Amri´s work centers on the biochemistry of steroid hormones, reproductive physiology, and women's health. A highly regarded researcher and educator, Dr. Amri is the author of numerous papers and chapters in scientific journals and books. She has regularly presented her work at national and international conferences. She is the recipient of a number of grants and awards in the United States and Europe, and her work has been a subject of interest on radio and national television. As a founding member of the Complementary, Alternative and Integrative Medicine Initiative at Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Amri is committed to innovative improvements in science and healthcare. Educating the public and increasing awareness have long been a passion of mine, says Dr. Amri who has lectured extensively on women's wellness, menopause, and hormonal therapies in recent years. She is a strong supporter of Georgetown University's Mini Medical School program, an educational forum for the lay public.
Mark Savant, M.D.
Dr. Savant graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 1994. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California, and subsequently joined the faculty at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. While in New York, Dr. Savant served as a clinical instructor at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was recognized as a "Noted Teacher". In 2000, Dr. Savant returned to his native San Francisco to start his own practice and continues to be a staff member at St. Mary's Medical Center, a medicine consult to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit, and a clinical instructor in Internal Medicine. Additional highlights of Dr. Savant's career include a Fulbright teaching fellowship to France and the chairmanship of the Asian Physicians Advisory Committee. He has been named "Top Performing Physician" by the Hill Physician Medical Group for four consecutive years and has received a "5 star rating" on Yelp.com. In his spare time, Dr. Savant is a team physician for the University of San Francisco and the California Victory soccer team, and he remains a strong advocate for wellness, healthy living, and an active lifestyle. His passions include athletics and spending time with his family.
Gregory Juckett, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Gregory Juckett is a Professor of Family Medicine at West Virginia University, Morgantown, where he also directs the University's International Travel Clinic. Dr. Juckett received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Hershey, a Master's Degree in Public Health from West Virginia University, and he completed a family medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. He has a Certificate of Knowledge in Tropical Medicine and Travelers' Health as well as a Certificate in Travel Medicine. Dr. Juckett is a member of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and has extensive short-term medical experience in the developing world.
C.P. Negri, O.M.D., N.M.D.
Dr. Negri received his degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine from the American School of Oriental and Homeopathic Therapy and holds a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. He is a certified classical homeopath, a Board-certified naturopathic physician, a Diplomat of the American Naturopathic Association, and a member of the International Society of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Association of Oriental Medicine. He currently serves as the president of the Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Negri is the founder of Infinity Health Care, a system of applied natural medicine. He has created a natural medicine database as well as innovative software for the management of natural medicine practices and is the author of a textbook of naturopathic medicine. His clinic has served as a training center for students and physicians from Bastyr University Naturopathic Medical School, the National College of Natural Medicine, the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and the WVU Medical School and Family Medicine Residency Program.
