Just click on the "My Health Space" tab that appears near the top, right side of every TauMed page (you must be signed in to see this). Then click on any of the links to customize your TauMed account. The features available in My Health Space allow you to customize your experience and receive all the benefits of being a TauMed member.

The "My Community Profile" feature allows you to share with the rest of the TauMed community any information about you as an individual that you would like others to know.

Q: Can I upload my own picture or image for my profile?
Yes, you may either upload your own image or choose among a number of avatars provided by TauMed.

Q: What is TauMed's "My Friends" feature and how can I invite others to join my Friends' Circle?
TauMed's "My Friends" feature allows you to add friends to your Health Space. The "Friends' Circle" feature allows you to form your own community circle of friends and to create your own support group. You can start your own online community based on any health-related subject of interest.

Simply click on "Add a Friend" in the "My Friends" portlet to add a friend to your Health Space. You can find and add a friend either by username or email address. If you know the TauMed username of the friend that you would like to add, enter the username and click submit. A message will be sent to your friend. Once your friend accepts the invitation, he/she will become available as a friend under "My Friends". You will have the option of either sharing your list of friends with everyone or keeping it private.

Q: What is TauMed's "My Favorite Members" feature?
TauMed's favorite member feature allows you to add preferred TauMed members to your Health Space. Simply click on "Add a Favorite" in the "My Favorite Members" portlet, enter the TauMed username of the community member you would like to add, and click on the "Submit" button. You may show your favorites to the community or hide them from the community.

Q: Can I email other community members and maintain my anonymity?
Yes, you will be able to maintain your anonymity since you are only using your screen user name.

Q: What is my address book and how do I manage it?
TauMed's "Address Book" feature within My Health Space allows you to add and manage email addresses. You can bulk upload email addresses or enter them in a comma-separated format.

Q: Can I bookmark any external links of interest for later reference?
Yes. Simply click on "Add a Link" in the "My Links" portlet at the left bottom of the "My Health Space" page, type the title of your bookmark, and enter the web address (URL).

Simply type your question into the "Ask a Health Question" box that appears on the left side of the screen. Then click on the "Ask Question" button (you have to be signed-in to ask a question).

Step 1: Review your question and make any necessary changes. As you type your question, you will see a list of "Related Community Questions" appear below the question box. This will let you see if someone else has already asked a similar question. If so, you can just click on the similar question to see what other members have contributed to this topic so far.

Step 2: Once you have completed typing your question, you will be presented with a list of categories and subcategories. Select the category that you feel most likely reflects your question. You may choose to skip the categorization step.

Step 3: Indicate whether you want to be notified by email when someone answers your question and click on the "Post My Question" button.

If you want to respond to a question, just click on the "Add an Answer or a Response" link that appears below each question.

Once uploaded, your video will be available for you and the community to view. This way, you can share your exercise journals, training plans, preparations for competitions, live sports events, and many other interesting health and fitness activities with others.

Simply click on the "Video Upload" icon on any page.
Step 1: You will be prompted to sign in if you are not already signed in.
Step 2: Enter the video details, which are the title of your video, a short video description, and video tag terms to help people find your video.
Step 3: Categorize your video by first selecting a top-level category, then any sub-categories that may apply to your video. This helps users locate your video more easily. You may skip the categorization.
Step 4: Upload your video. Do not close this window until your upload is complete.

TauMed's Terms of Use clarify what kinds of uses of TauMed's embeddable player are permitted. Users may embed TauMed videos on their sites and in their blogs. TauMed reserves the right to restrict such use, if the primary goal of embedding TauMed videos is to aggregate TauMed videos for the purpose of generating advertisement revenue or to compete with TauMed.

As a user you agree not to use the TauMed Website, including the TauMed Embeddable Player for any commercial use, without the prior written authorization of TauMed, Inc.
