dharilama's Health Question Responses
Am 58 yrs old female. Had gallbladder removed 5 yrrs ago, still have same symptoms. I absolutely cannot eat fats. Tenderness on right side just under rib cage and sometimes right side of back. Tightness after eating. Lots of tests, doc say everything ok with exception of blood glucose number (c1a) is 6.8. In Feb, ate a greasy prime rib inwhich I got violently ill and had weird side affects for 5 weeks, then fine, but weird symptoms coming back in June, (not as bad) Question... could this be Oddi dysfunction and if it is really bad, could it affect my blood glucose numbers? No diabetes in family and I eat a healthy diet. Has anyone ever tried a liver cleanse (herbs)?

I recently ate some frozen yoghurt and noticed the claim "from active culture". The manufacturer subsequently listed some active yoghurt culture health benefits. Can these bacteria actually survive the cold temperature?
